#BeautifulCreatures Read it Before You See it Giveaway!

Today we're celebrating the upcoming movie release of Beautiful Creatures (out February 14th!).  We have been huge fans of this series from the start (of both PTB and the series).  The picture to the left is of me (Stacey) and Margie and Kami at one of their first book signings in Chicago for Beautiful Creatures  (click HERE to see my recap from the event).  We've featured Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl several times over this last few years (our interview with Kami and Margie - and our interview with our favorite best friend Link) and we're excited to feature them and this series one more time!

In case you're new to the series, here's the details on book 1, Beautiful Creatures:

Lena Duchannes is unlike anyone the small Southern town of Gatlin has ever seen, and she's struggling to conceal her power, and a curse that has haunted her family for generations. The Beautiful Creatures Mall Tour came to Chicago (Delia's hosted) and I was able to go and get in to meet Alden Ehrenreich (Ethan) and Alice Englert (Lena) and had a blast!  Alden and Alice signed character posters and chatted with fans.  There were also giveaways and things going on during the event.  We also got access to an advanced screening of the movie (hoping to be able to make the screening, if I do, we'll be posting a review next week!)  I've included some of the pictures from the event bellow, and you can see the rest on our Facebook page HERE

(I was listening to the Beautiful Creatures Soundtrack/score while creating this post.  IT's AMAZING!  You can pre-order it HERE, it's available February 12.  I love how it's this great balance of southern and gothic just like the book.  It's haunting, yet familiar and just wow.  I'm even more excited to see this movie now if that's possible.  Check out this MTV Video with thenewno2, the amazing people who brought us the music!
