Teaser Tuesdays

Teaser Tuesday is weekly meme hosted by Mizb at Should be Reading
  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
  • Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
It was hard to pick which book I wanted to give you a teaser from-but how could I not give you one from..

Linger by Maggie Stievfvater

Picking one from this book was hard- but I think I found one that will be a
great teaser, but still leave you guessing.

Crouched on the cold forest floor, pine needles pressing into my palms, blood smeared on my bare knees, I couldn't remember how long I'd been human.

  7. Both Shiver and Linger have some of the best covers I've seen in a long time. I didn't particularly love Shiver, but I still want to read Linger. I hope you enjoy it!

  8. NIkki. I wasn't a huge fan of Shiver either. I like it, but prefer her fairy series. But I LOVED Linger. If I could review it right now it would get 5 stars.

I sat on the stairs again, listening to the heater run and the silent un-noise of snow outside. I heard Graves moving around-the toilet flushing, water running, shuffling feet and creaks I hadn't had a chance to learn in this new place yet....

  12. Mmm...I didn't appreciate Shiver as much as a lot of others did...so I wonder if I'll pick up Linger. That teaser is definitely interesting, though! Nice choice.
